UHMWPE denotes Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene which is a polyethylene polymer with an average molecular weight is greater than 3,100,000 as defined by ASTM D4020 – Standard specification for UHMWPE polymers. This molecular weight is well above the molecular weight of most typical polymers which are between 1,000,000 and 400,000 thus earning the title Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene. Polyethylenes with molecular weight in the 3.1 -4.5 Million range have been found to exhibit the best combination of impact strength and abrasion resistance. For Polyethylene molecular weight classification the following guidelines can be used: 

 HDPE (High Density Polyethylene): 100,000 – 400,000 MW 

 HMWHDPE (High Molecular Weight High Density Polyethylene) 500,000 – 1,999,999  VHMWHDPE (Very High Molecular Weight High Density Polyethylene) 2,000,000 – 3,100,000 

 UHMWPE (Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene) > 3,100,000 + MW

A. Material 

Inner lined UHMWPE (Ultra high molecular weight pe )pipe molecular weight is from 3.5 million to 9.5 million, with great wear resistance,3-5 times than PE100 ,7-10 times than steel pipe in hard work environment.

A.Extremely High Wear Resistance

Of all the known materials, the wear resistant performance of White UHMWPE pipe is the best. It is 5 times that of alloy steel, 3 times that of HDPE pipe, 4 times that of nylon. Practical experiment shows that UHMWPE pipe is the most suitable for wear resistant transportation of medium such as powder and slurry.

B.Very High Impact Resistance
Of the existing engineering plastics, the impact toughness of white UHMWPE pipe is the highest. Its impact resistance is 10 times higher than that of HDPE pipe, 6 times that of nylon. It is hard to make the Black UHMWPE Plastic pipe crack or break in many tough conditions.

C.High Corrosion Resistance
As the corrosion resistant pipe, it can deliver various corrosive gas or liquid at the tempurature below 80°C. We have many years of applied experience in desalination brine transportation,salt transportation, acid transportation and other fields.

D.Self-lubrication
White UHMWPE pipe has excellent surface non-adhesion and surface smoothness due to its small friction coefficient. And it's a kind of inert material so the uhmwpe pipe is not easy to form dirt.The surface of uhmwpe pipe is smooth like a mirror. In normal work conditions, adhesive material is difficult to attach on the pipe.

E.High flexibility
White UHMWPE Pipe has high flexibility. It can be meanderingly laid along the pipe trench, and will not be broken at greater bend in construction. If the crust sinking, the pipe can stretch to three times of itself but not be ruptured.
